Cnc lathe operator — Bergen County

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Bergen County, New Jersey. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
