Immediate opening: we are hiring a steward in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. On a typical shift you will hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
