Vacancy available: argon welding operator (Osun State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Orolu, Osun State. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work On the job you will handle: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
