Immediate opening: stitching operator (Texas)

Join our team: we are hiring a stitching operator in Jim Hogg County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $32 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
