Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Gasconade County, Missouri. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work On a typical shift you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
