Stone mason — Winnebago County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stone mason in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a marble and granite workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
