Fettler — McPherson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in McPherson County, Kansas. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift.
