Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Union County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy construction site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Day to day you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
