Metal caster — Millard County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Millard County, Utah. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
