Thermal insulation technician — Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Jackson County, Tennessee. The job is at an industrial plant. Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls On a typical shift you will lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
