Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Kimble County, Texas. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
