Vacancy available: we are hiring an insulation worker in Decatur County, Georgia. You will be based at a cold storage facility. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
