Fusing press operator wanted in Granville County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Granville County, North Carolina. The job is in a garment export house. The role involves operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Full-time, day shift.
