Argon welder — Juneau County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Juneau County, Wisconsin. You will be based on an industrial construction site. You will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
