Meat cutter — Rhea County

Now hiring: we are hiring a meat cutter in Rhea County, Tennessee. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. The role involves: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
