Join our team: we are hiring a pressman in Orange County, California. The role involves set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
