HSE supervisor — Champaign County

Join our team: we are hiring a HSE supervisor in Champaign County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Requirements: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Rotating shifts.
