Lifting rigger — Darazo

Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Darazo, Bauchi State. You will be based at a power plant. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Full-time with occasional weekends.
