Immediate opening: machine setter-operator (England)

Join our team: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Knowsley, England. You will work in a packaging factory. Day-to-day duties: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges You should have: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
