Milling machinist wanted in Langlade County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Langlade County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges On the job you will handle: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
