We are recruiting: port container crane operator (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Russell County, Kentucky. You will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
