Bricklayer — Kiru

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Kiru, Kano State. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Day-to-day duties: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. ₦1,250 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
