Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Randall County, Texas. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently On the job you will handle: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Rotating shifts. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
