Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards On a typical shift you will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
