Tile setter — Mason County

Join our team: we are hiring a tile setter in Mason County, Illinois. The role involves mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles. What we are looking for: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience 2+ years on the tools preferred.
