Turning centre operator — Wilkes County

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Wilkes County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Day to day you will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
