Immediate opening: rough terrain crane operator (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in City of Norfolk, Virginia. You will work on a busy construction site. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) The role involves grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
