Immediate opening: elevator service technician (New Jersey)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Middlesex County, New Jersey. You will be based at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring You will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; run load and overload tests with test weights; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
