Punch press operator • Defiance County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in Defiance County, Ohio. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; record output and downtime on the production sheet. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
