Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Lewis County, Missouri. You will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
