Gtaw welder wanted in Jefferson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Jefferson County, Missouri. Your main tasks: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
