Vacancy available: elevator service technician (Lagos State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Shomolu, Lagos State. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. ₦110,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
