Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Chippewa County, Minnesota. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens 5+ years on the tools preferred.
