Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Surrey, England. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
