Great opportunity: we are hiring a packer in Clinton County, Illinois. You will be based in a pharmaceutical packing unit. On a typical shift you will weigh and portion products before bagging; apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack; strap and band pallets ready for loading; feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams; check best-before and expiry dates on every box; operate the filling and sealing machine on the line. Requirements: • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing • Comfortable working at speed to meet line targets • Basic numeracy for counting and recording quantities $4,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
