Now hiring: we are hiring a mason's helper in City of Fredericksburg, Virginia. You will work on a commercial building project. On the job you will handle: • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
