Pipe tig welder — Hartlepool

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Hartlepool, England. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection The role involves set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges.
