Overlocker operator — Tattnall County

Join our team: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Tattnall County, Georgia. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching The role involves press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift.
