Sewing machine operator — Mubi North

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Mubi North, Adamawa State. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. On the job you will handle: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
