Plant operator • Holt County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Holt County, Nebraska. You will work at an auto-parts workshop. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Your main tasks: • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
