Mobile crane operator — Todd County

Now hiring: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Todd County, South Dakota. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Your main tasks: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
