Immediate opening: scaffolding erector (Yobe State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Barde, Yobe State. You will work on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Your main tasks: • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
