Urgent requirement: we are hiring a construction labourer in Cass County, Nebraska. Day to day you will bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Full-time with occasional weekends.
