Vacancy available: hydraulic crane operator (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Swain County, North Carolina. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
