Urgent requirement: we are hiring a presser in Montrose County, Colorado. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day to day you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
