Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Saint Croix County, Wisconsin. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. You should have: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses On a typical shift you will clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
