Turning centre operator — Lewis County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Lewis County, New York. Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred On the job you will handle: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Write and edit G-code programs at the control Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
