Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Preston County, West Virginia. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Understanding of hand and radio signals Day-to-day duties: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
