Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Bristol County, Rhode Island. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. You will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Meals and transport allowance provided.
