Presser — McIntosh County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a presser in McIntosh County, Georgia. The job is at a dry cleaner's. On a typical shift you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; give each garment a final press before packing; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Full-time, day shift. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
